Duct tape has long been the temporary fix-it saviour for pretty much anything I’ve ever had that broke, got cracked or fell off. Most will agree that duct tape is awesome stuff and no real man can live without a roll nearby at any given moment.
However duct tape has an up and coming rival in the temprary fix-it catagory that doesn’t get anywhere near as much time in the spotlight.
I’m talking about cling wrap.
A few years ago I set out with a goal to write a book listing all the magnificent uses there were for cling wrap, That is, other than keeping our food fresh for just that little bit longer. But it never really happened. Funny that!
However I still feel the need to spread the word about its functional brilliance, so I plan to drip feed you with examples of its uses outside the kitchen via my blog.
Let it also be said that I’m in no way trying to de-fame or de-throne duct tape from its fix-it glory. Rather I’m trying to enlighten others to the versatility of cling wrap through a comparison to a crowd favourite.
With that said, heres the first example.
You wouldn’t try doing this with duct tape… unless your NUTS!
